Motorists warned of traffic delays in Dublin

Motorists are being warned of traffic delays as a result of today's matches in Croke Park.

Derek Ryan from AA Roadwatch has said traffic will be very heavy on all approaches to Dublin.

In particular, the N7 with supporters from Kilkenny and Cork and N11 with fans from Wexford.

Attendance at Croke Park is expected to break records this year.

It's estimated that more than two million people will have attended matches at the stadium by the end of the year.

That compares to just more than 1.3 million in 2006.

This weekend alone, the GAA is expected to make more than €2m from weekend fixtures.
