Northern Executive to discuss crisis tomorrow

A special meeting of the Northern Executive to discuss foot and mouth will take place at Stormont tomorrow.

Agriculture Minster Michelle Gildernew will brief cabinet colleagues and senior officials about the outbreak in Surrey and the response of her department in Belfast.

The power sharing Executive will also discuss what measures can be taken not just between the North and the UK but also with the Republic.
