Universities plan new push for return of student fees

Ireland's university presidents are reportedly set to step up their campaign for the return of third-level fees.

Reports this morning say the move follows new figures showing that Irish universities need an extra €560m in funding every year to be able to compete with the leading colleges in other OECD countries.
