Rents driven up as affordability gap hits housing

Rental prices have risen by 11% in the last year as prospective homebuyers hold off on taking the leap into ownership due to uncertainty over interest-rate increases.

That's according to Bank of Ireland’s Irish Property Review, the bank's quarterly analysis of the Irish property market, published today.
