Former TD reappointed to top human rights job

Former Fine Gael TD Maurice Manning was today re-appointed as president of the Human Rights Commission for a second five-year term.

Former Fine Gael TD Maurice Manning was today re-appointed as president of the Human Rights Commission for a second five-year term.

Minister for Justice Brian Lenihan said Dr Manning had served with distinction and that he expected him to provide further leadership to the statutory body.
