Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan has again dismissed claims by Irish farmers that Brazilian beef is unsafe to eat.

The Irish Farmers Association says an investigation it conducted found that Brazilian producers use illegal growth hormones and do not properly trace their cattle.
