11 held in drugs swoops

Eleven men were arrested today during drugs raids across north Dublin.

Heroin, cocaine, Ecstasy and cannabis, along with a quantity of cash, were seized from properties in Coolock and surrounding areas by members of the Garda National Drug Unit and local gardaí.

The raids were a culmination of an ongoing operation aimed at drug dealing in the Coolock area.

The men were due to appear at Swords District Court later today.
