Industrial diamonds firm to lay off 24 workers in Dublin
A company that makes industrial diamonds has announced plans to lay off 24 of its workers in Dublin.
Diamond Innovations says it has been forced to shed 19 full-time and five temporary jobs due to market conditions.
The company says the decision of a small group of workers to reject a Labour Court recommendation and threaten industrial action means the firm can no longer invest in new product lines at its Clonshaugh plant.
