Agbonlahor deportations put back for four weeks
Minister for Justice Brian Lenihan has agreed to defer the deportation of a Nigerian family that were at the centre of a recent court battle.
Olivia Agbonlahor and her twin son and daughter, Great and Melissa, recently dropped their legal bid to be allowed to remain in Ireland.
Ms Agbonlahor had argued that her autistic son would not be get proper treatment in Nigeria and would be treated as an outcast.
The family were due to present themselves for deportation tomorrow.
However, Minister Lenihan has now agreed to a request to allow them to stay for four more weeks so the twins can be vaccinated before they travel to Africa.
