Search for US tourist off coast of Valentia Island

A search has been launched for an American tourist who fell into the sea in Co Kerry.

The man was walking along the north side of Valentia Island when he slipped on rocks and fell into water around 6pm.

Valentia Lifeboat and Coastguard are searching for the man and a Shannon Rescue Service helicopter has been deployed.
