Dell Ireland to shed 100 jobs at Limerick operation
Dell Ireland has announced plans to shed up to 100 jobs at its operation in Limerick.
The move is part of a worldwide cost-cutting scheme, but the company says all job losses will be voluntary.
Dell employs 3,000 people in Limerick and 1,500 in Dublin, but the Dublin workers will not be affected by the job cuts.
Dell also says it plans to continue recruiting for certain parts of its operation in Ireland.
