Airlifted climber discharged from hospital in Kerry
A 76-year-old man who was injured while climbing on Mount Brandon in Co Kerry yesterday has been discharged from hospital.
The man, who was one of a group of six climbers, fell more than 30 feet shortly after 4pm.
The Shannon based coast guard helicopter arrived at the scene and airlifted him to Kerry General Hospital, from where he was discharged last night.
