Gardaí investigate death of Meath woman
Gardaí are today investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 50-year-old woman in Co Meath.
Her body was found in a house in Laytown after 8.30pm last night.
It was removed to Our Lady's hospital, Navan where State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy performed a post mortem examination this morning.
It is understood the woman had suffered head injuries.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
