SDLP tops spending list for recent Assembly election
The SDLP spent the most money of any party on the March Assembly election in the North, according to figures published by the Electoral Commission.
The party spent just over €296,000 around twice the amount of the next biggest spender - the DUP.
The Ulster Unionists, meanwhile, spent around €111,000 and Sinn Féin spent just over €89,000.
Most money went on advertising, market research, canvassing and party election broadcasts.
Two small parties - the Socialist Environmental Alliance and the Workers Party - have both been fined €739 for failing to supply accounts, while the UUP has been fined the same amount for late filing.
