Gardaí given more time to question cocaine haul suspect
Gardaí have been given more time to question one of the three men arrested over the massive cocaine haul recovered off the Cork coast earlier this week.
The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested on Monday and can now be held for another 72 hours.
Reports this morning say gardaí are still trying to establish his identity and believe he is using a fake passport in the name of a baby who died on the day he was born in 1985.
Meanwhile, the two men arrested in west Cork yesterday in connection with the seizure are still in custody this morning, while a fourth suspect is still under armed guard in hospital.
