Girl in detention for theft of €13 worth of toiletries

A 15-year-old girl, who has spent four months in a detention centre for theft of €13 worth of toiletries, has been further remanded in custody to await placement in a children’s care unit.

The Dublin Children’s Court heard today that a care home had been found for the girl who has been held in custody in Oberstown Girls’ Centre since February.
