Two arrested over seizure of farm machinery worth €150k
Two men have been arrested in connection with the seizure of €50,000 worth of farm machinery in North Cork.
Thirty officers were involved in a planned search operation on two farms and a house in Fermoy.
A tractor, six trailers a cement mixer and other building materials were recovered.
Gardaí are currently trying to identify the origin of the items, but it's believed they are from farms and building sites across south Munster.
The searches arose from information received last week by gardaí following a number of cocaine seizures which took place after a teenager was found dead from an overdose in Rathcormac.
