Man expected before court over Meg Walsh death

A 40-year-old man is expected to appear in court in Waterford this morning in connection with the death of Margaret 'Meg' Walsh last year.

The 35-year-old's body was found in the River Suir in Waterford City last October following a lengthy search.

She had been missing for two weeks.

A man was arrested last night in connection with her death and is expected to be brought before the District Court today.
