The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has confirmed that new legislation to reform stamp duty will be "fully passed" by the freshly constituted Dáil before it adjourns for its summer recess.

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has confirmed that new legislation to reform stamp duty will be "fully passed" by the freshly constituted Dáil before it adjourns for its summer recess.

Mr Ahern said the move will benefit thousands of young people as they try to get on the property ladder for the first time.
