UDA warned to decommission or lose funding

The North's largest paramilitary group was warned today Government funding for its political wing could be cut off unless it decommissions its weapons.

A new Northern Assembly minister told the Ulster Defence Association (UDA) it had to choose between its arsenal of guns or the cash.
