Social and Family Affairs Minister Seamus Brennan was the first member of the Government to be returned to the Dáil, topping the poll in Dublin South.

Social and Family Affairs Minister Seamus Brennan was the first member of the Government to be returned to the Dáil, topping the poll in Dublin South.

The quota for the constituency was 10,201 and the minister received 13,373 first preference votes.
