Missing woman may be in England

A search for a Kenyan woman who vanished from her home inhthe North has spread to England, police revealed today.

Officers believe Salome Wanjira Mugo, aged around 32, may be in the Milton Keynes area of Buckinghamshire.

She has not been seen since leaving a house in Mountfield, near Omagh, Co Tyrone, in March.

She had been staying there with friends.

Police stressed their inquiry is just to ensure she is safe and well.

They are understood to be investigating reports that she had started a relationship with a man after moving to Northern Ireland.

Ms Mugo, who speaks accented English, is described as 5ft 4in and of petite build.
