Majority support abortion when foetus cannot survive

The vast majority of voters support the decision by the courts to allow Miss D to travel to the UK for an abortion, according to an opinion poll published this morning.

Almost two-thirds of respondents to the Irish Independent poll said they supported abortion in cases where the foetus cannot survive outside the womb.
