The Labour party here have downplayed reports that leader Pat Rabbitte feels snubbed over his exclusion from today's address by the Taoiseach at Westminster.

A spokesperson for the Labour Party said Mr Rabbitte was invited by the Taoiseach to hear his speech to the British Parliament, but that he has decided to focus on his election campaign.
