Sinn Féin is calling for the election campaign to focus on the real issues facing voters following the recent controversy surrounding the Taoiseach's finances.

The party has today launched its policies on justice, community safety and tackling drug abuse.

Sinn Féin is proposing the appointment of a dedicated Minister for State for Drugs and is demanding more resources for the Garda Drugs Units.

Dublin Central candidate Mary Lou McDonald says the current level of investment in disadvantaged areas is scandalous and a lot more money is needed to reverse the under-funding.
