Nursing dispute dominates election debate

The General Election campaign today hit the midway point as political parties argued over how to resolve the 40-day nursing dispute.

The Taoiseach rejected a call by Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny for personal intervention and suggested a trouble-shooter could break the deadlock.
