Lenihan gets angry response at nurses' conference
Attempts by the Junior Minister for Health Brian Lenihan to empathise with the nurses turned sour at the INOs special annual conference in Dublin.
Addressing a packed room Mr Lenihan said that the Government is feeling the strain too but he received an angry response.
The dispute over pay and working hours is heating up - nurses will decide this evening whether to end the work to rule over threats by employers to cut their pay by 13.%.
