Labour confident about winning over undecided voters

The Labour Party says it is confident of winning the support of a large quantity of undecided voters before the upcoming election.

The party's director of elections claimed today that there had been a significant shift in opinion among undecided voters in recent days.

James Wrynn says Labour is upbeat about reports it has been getting back from canvassers on the ground and believes discontent with the outgoing government gives the party a good chance of picking up a dozen new Dáil seats.

He said: "There genuinely seems to be a significant move to the Labour Party and what's extraordinary about it is the consistency with which candidates are reporting that."
