Armed gang in post office raid

An armed gang is on the run after holding up a post office in Waterford this morning, it has emerged.

At around 9am two males, one armed with a handgun and the other with a wrench, demanded cash from frightened staff members, before making their escape with an accomplice and an undisclosed sum of money in a silver coloured car.
