Man quizzed over €400,000 cocaine haul

Gardaí tonight arrested a man after €400,000 worth of cocaine was seized at Dublin Airport.

Garda National Drugs Unit officers backed by Revenue Officials seized 6kgs of the drug in a planned swoop.

The 40-year-old Irish national is being held at Santry garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act.

“The value of the seizure, depending on analysis, could be in the region of over €400,000,” a Garda spokesman said.
