Blair accused over Ahern speech to Westminster

Tony Blair was today accused of a serious error of judgment by Ireland’s Labour Party over plans for Taoiseach Bertie Ahern to address Westminster.

The British prime minister’s sister party across the Irish Sea are furious that Mr Ahern is being handed a publicity coup during a general election campaign.
