Dáil resumes for last session before upcoming election

The Dáil returns to business today after its two-and-a-half-week Easter break.

The coming term will be last before the general election, with the Taoiseach expected to announce the date for the vote within the next 10 days.

A total of eight bills are to be introduced during the forthcoming session, but it is unclear if any of them will be passed into law before the public goes to the polls.
