South African man arrested following cocaine seizure

A 34-year-old South African man has been arrested in connection with a €100,000 cocaine seizure at Dublin Airport this morning.

The man was detained after 1.5 kilos of the drug were found in the false bottom of a suitcase.

He had arrived on a flight from Zurich and was en route to Nairobi.

The man was taken to Santry Garda Station and is due to appear in court this afternoon.
