The jury in the trial of a 21-year-old Clare man accused of murdering his 17-year-old sister has been sent out this morning in the Central Criminal Court to consider its verdict.

The jury in the trial of a 21-year-old Clare man accused of murdering his 17-year-old sister has been sent out this morning in the Central Criminal Court to consider its verdict.

Patrick O'Dwyer, then aged 19, of Shrohill, Ennistymon, has pleaded not guilty to murdering his sister Marguerite at the family home on November 29th 2004.

Marguerite O’Dwyer, then a leaving cert student, died from blows to the head with a hammer and was found with 90 stab wounds over her body.
