The 21 year-old Clare man accused of murdering his sister was suffering from a mental disorder at the time of the killing, a consultant psychiatrist told a jury in the Central Criminal Court today.

Defence witness Dr David O’Connell was giving evidence in the trial of Patrick O'Dwyer of Shrohill, Ennistymon, who has pleaded not guilty to murdering Marguerite O'Dwyer at the family home on November 29.
