Man arrested in connection with death of Rose Patterson
A 32-year-old man has today been arrested in connection with the death of Rose Patterson in Cork.
The mother-of-three was found with multiple stab wounds at a flat in on Connolly Street, Clonakilty last Thursday.
A man was found unconscious at the flat around the same time, and was brought to Cork University Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.
The man taken in for questioning this evening in connection with the death was arrested under the provision of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, which allows suspects to be held for a period of up to 24 hours.
