Rescuers search for missing man on Blessington Lake

Rescue workers are searching for a man who fell into Blessington Lake in Co Wicklow overnight.

Gardaí were alerted to the incident at 2.15am.

Searches have been taking place throughout the night, but a full-scale operation is getting underway this morning.

The Coastguard helicopter has arrived at the scene, and mountain rescue teams are combing the area.
