One person killed in three-car pile-up near Killarney

One person has died following a three-car collision on the main Cork to Kerry road this morning.

Six others were also injured in the pile-up on the Killarney by-pass at around 9am.

The road has been closed as a result and major traffic diversions are in place.

Five ambulance, three fire brigades and local gardaí were all dispatched to the scene.
