UUP selects Empey and McGimpsey as Stormont ministers

The Ulster Unionist Party has named Michael McGimpsey as the Health Minister in the North's new power-sharing Executive.

Party leader Reg Empey will take the role of Employment Minister, but Mr McGimpsey's selection as the party's second minister is something of a surprise. Danny Kennedy or Alan McFarland had been tipped to get the job.
