Fifth person arrested in connection with death of Polish man

Gardaí have arrested a fifth person in connection with the death of a Polish man in Limerick on Monday.

Four men and a woman - all of whom are Polish nationals - are now being held at separate Garda stations across Limerick in connection with the incident.

Three are being questioned in relation to withholding information, while the remaining two are being quizzed about the alleged assault

26-year-old Dariusz Wiskowski was found with serious head injuries at a house in Castletroy in the early hours of Monday morning.

He later lost his battle for life at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital.
