FG promises to ease stamp duty for first time buyers

The Fine Gael finance spokesperson, Richard Bruton has said he makes no apology for wanting to change the law dealing with stamp duty.

The party has promised to abolish stamp duty on houses costing up to €450,000 for first time buyers and tax will only be charged on the amount exceeding that price.
