Dáil passes law to protect health service whistleblowers

The Dáil has passed new legislation aimed at protecting whistleblowers who report malpractice in the health service.

Health Minister Mary Harney says the amendment will allow employees to make protected disclosures in good faith and on reasonable grounds.
