Woman still in custody over knife murder in Roscrea

Gardaí in Tipperary are continuing to hold a 33-year-old woman this morning in connection with the murder of a Czech national at his home in Roscrea on Sunday night.

The 36-year-old victim is understood to have been stabbed a number of times in the kitchen of his home in the New Line area of the town.

He had been living in the house with his wife and their two children.

The woman in custody is understood to be also eastern European.
