Post mortem to be carried out on man found dead in Mayo

Gardaí in Co Mayo are investigating the death of an elderly man whose body was found outside his house in Co Mayo yesterday afternoon.

The discovery in Blacksod was made by a neighbour and Gardai are describing the man's death as unexplained.

The State Pathologist has been called to the area to conduct an examination of the scene and a post mortem.
