Gardaí slam media coverage of young mother's death

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors has lashed out at the media over its coverage of the death of a woman and her newborn child in Co Louth last week.

Garda Tania Corcoran, who was carrying twins, died from complications relating to her pregnancy at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
