Gardaí release man questioned in connection with Baiba Saulite murder

Gardaí have released without charge the man they were questioning in connection with the murder of Baiba Saulite.

The 28-year-old Latvian mother-of-two was shot dead outside her home in Swords last November while her children slept upstairs.

The 35-year-old man was the third person to be questioned about the killing in the past two days.

Earlier, two other men - one Irish and one a foreign national - were brought back to Mountjoy Jail where they are serving time for other offences.
