A man charged with harrassing Late Late Show presenter Pat Kenny and causing criminal damage to the RTÉ reception door by driving his car into it has had a date set for a hearing for his fitness to plead.

A man charged with harrassing Late Late Show presenter Pat Kenny and causing criminal damage to the RTÉ reception door by driving his car into it has had a date set for a hearing for his fitness to plead.

Paul Stokes (52) of Mountpelier Parade, Monkstown has been remanded in continuing custody by Judge Katherine Delahunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court pending the hearing.

Judge Delahunt also directed that an updated medical report on Mr Stokes should be prepared

Mr Stokes is charged with causing criminal damage to the RTÉ reception door by driving his car into it on December 2, 2006, causing a substantial risk of death or serious injury to another; and that he harassed Mr Kenny on dates between November 24 and December 24, 2006.
