One million cigarettes seized by customers in Rosslare

Customs Officials have seized one million cigarettes in Rosslare.

The cigarettes were concealed in the false floor of a refrigeration trailer on a Polish registered truck which arrived on a ferry from Cherbourg, France last night.

A Polish man in his mid-twenties is helping Custom officers with their enquiries

The cigarettes are valued at over €300,000.

It is the largest seizure of cigarettes in Rosslare so far this year.
