Search resumes at Grand Canal for missing youth

Gardaí are due to resume their search for 18-year-old David White at the Grand Canal near Clondalkin this morning.

The body of his friend Shane Coughlan was recovered from the water on Wednesday.

Two witnesses have come forward to help the Gardaí with the investigation.

They have confirmed they saw the two teenagers in the area last Sunday morning.

Extra reinforcements are now being drafted in to assist garda divers in the search of nearby fields and scrub lands.
