Man arrested after €200,000 cannabis seizure in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested a 26-year-old man following a significant cannabis seizure in the north of the city this morning.

The man, who is from Ballymun, was detained when gardaí stopped a car on the Swords Road just after 9am.

Thirty kilos of cannabis were seized, along with a quantity of cash.

Gardaí say the drugs had a street value of around €200,000.
